At Knight & Salladay Law Offices we are committed to not only staying up to date with current changes in the law but also to giving back to our community. We believe in developing a better family law bar by encouraging other attorneys to become more educated in the area of family law and we also believe in sharing our knowledge with others. Child Interviews in Family Court-November, 2010

Continuing legal education program presented to approximately 60 attorneys regarding child interviews in family court. Speakers included a court appointed Guardian ad Litem, two family court judges, and a family therapist from Columbia, Missouri. SEE HANDOUT

Tax Consequences related to Family Law cases-June, 2011

Continuing legal education program presented to attorneys and accountants related to tax consequences involving divorce, maintenance, business valuations, and other issues that come up in family law cases. SEE HANDOUT

How to Recognize, Respond, and Report Child Abuse-November, 2011

Our firm presented a program regarding recognizing, responding and reporting child abuse to approximately 90 licensed daycare providers in Columbia, Missouri. A family therapist and case worker from Children's Division of Boone County, Missouri presented and answered questions to daycare providers about recognizing and reporting child abuse. SEE HANDOUT

Contracts 101

Tana Benner and Amy Salladay presented a program on contracts, corporation formation and basic employment law to small business owners as part of the Missouri Small Business & Technology Center. SEE HANDOUT

Women's Leadership Conference 2012

Amy Salladay presented to college girls from Stephen's College, Columbia College, and the University of Missouri-Columbia on what it's like to be a female attorney running her own business and balancing work-family life as part of the annual Women's Leadership Conference held in Columbia, Missouri each year.
